ACLU Statement on Spread of Misinformation in Burlington Policing Debate

The ACLU of Vermont sent a letter to Burlington Mayor Miro Weinberger today calling on him and other Burlington leaders to provide the public with complete and accurate information about public safety and policing in the Queen City.

Between 2016 and 2021, Burlington saw a 46% reduction in year to date police incidents.

Protect Reproductive Liberty in Vermont

On September 1, the Supreme Court allowed Texas' radical ban on abortion to stand, effectively blocking people in Texas from accessing constitutionally protected health care.
