In our Fall 2022 newsletter, you'll find highlights on Article 22, the ballot measure for reproductive freedom; a re-cap of our efforts to improve transparency and accountability in state’s attorneys’ offices; and reflections from our director on the state of the Supreme Court.

We’re also thrilled to welcome two new staff to the ACLU of Vermont. Jenna Burkhardt joined the team as Senior Manager for People and Culture in June, and Jess Venable-Novak came on board this month as our new Advocacy and Outreach Manager.

Read more about the RLA, and policy initiatives we have underway in the state legislature, in our March 2022 newsletter.

Plus, meet new staff! Thanks to your sustained support, we are doubling down in the fight for the rights and liberties of all Vermonters. We have expanded our litigation, policy, and communications programs in recent months and are thrilled to welcome four people to the team. Learn about them below.
