The ACLU of Vermont invites you to join our vital Action Team! On Wednesday, May 14th, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., we're hosting a virtual information session and meeting where you can connect with fellow ACLU supporters, both new and long-standing and learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet our dedicated new Policy Advocates, Alex and Jordan, and hear firsthand about the pressing issues being addressed in the State House. We'll also delve into the ACLU's ongoing response to national challenges and provide a glimpse into our upcoming priorities and initiatives.
Whether you've been a steadfast champion of civil liberties for years or are just beginning to explore how you can make a difference, this meeting offers valuable insights and opportunities for engagement. We'll be outlining upcoming volunteer opportunities, including potential summer academy involvement and other events where your support can have a real impact. Come ready to learn how you can contribute your time and energy to defend democracy and the rights of all Vermonters. We're eager to foster a stronger community of advocates and hear your feedback as we move forward.
If you're passionate about protecting civil rights and liberties in Vermont and beyond, we encourage you to join us on May 14th. This is a crucial moment to come together, connect, and learn how we can collectively make our voices heard. The meeting will be held virtually via Zoom (link provided upon registration).
If you can't make this session but are interested in our Action Team, please email Jess Venable-Novak at [email protected].
