The ACLU of Vermont Action Team is powered by volunteers from across the state who are committed to protecting and expanding civil rights & liberties. Action Team members are given the tools and support to engage in opportunities such as tabling at events, hosting letter writing parties, being a social media ambassador, and much, much more!

If you’re eager to get involved—or if you know you want to make change in your community but aren’t exactly sure where to begin—the Action Team is for you! You’ll work closely with ACLU-VT staff to decide which opportunities are right for you.

Email Jess Venable-Novak to join the action team. (email: [email protected])

Joining the Action Team will give you access to monthly newsletters, event invitations, updates about the work of ACLUVT, and unique opportunities to engage with fellow members, ACLU-VT staff, and your elected officials. Most importantly, the ACLU-VT Action Team is a community of folks that call Vermont home and have a shared belief that everyone deserves to live in a community that is vibrant and thriving.

Curious about the team but unsure if this is the right opportunity for you? Feel free to reach out to Jess, our Advocacy & Outreach Manager, at [email protected] with any questions or ideas. Jess oversees the Action Team and is available to meet with folks one-on-one to discuss getting involved in the work of the ACLU of Vermont.
