The ACLU of Vermont is inviting dedicated individuals to join our vital network of community advocates. We believe that informed conversations and engaged communities are the bedrock of a thriving democracy. We are eager to connect with supporters, but we can’t do it alone. We need volunteers from across the state to join us as tabling activists!
This training session is designed to equip you with the skills and insights to confidently represent civil liberties in your local community. During this workshop you’ll learn how to effectively reach out “across the table,” from engaging in conversations with the public to empowering supporters to take action. We’ll also review our materials and give an overview of ALCU-VT talking points and FAQs.
Join us and meet your fellow passionate Vermonters who are committed to upholding fundamental rights and learn how to bring civil liberties discussions directly to where people are – in their local communities.
