Guthrie Benefit Nov. 19

We’ve acquired a limited number of premium tickets for the concert of Arlo Guthrie and The Guthrie Family Rides Again on Thursday, Nov. 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts in Burlington.

These premium tickets include attendance at the concert, plus a post-concert reception with cash bar for ACLU members and friends that offers a rare opportunity to meet Arlo and his family.

The concert includes four generations of Guthries and continues the long celebration of human rights begun by Arlo’s father, Woody Guthrie. Along with Arlo’s standards, the evening features unpublished Woody Guthrie lyrics put to music by friends and family and recordings of Woody in conversation and song.

Tickets are $75, which includes the concert, reception, and a donation to the ACLU Foundation of Vermont. The funds raised go to support the ACLU of Vermont’s efforts to protect civil liberties through our legal and public education programs.

To order tickets, contact the ACLU-Vermont office at 802-223-6304, ext. 113 and arrange for payment. Your special tickets for the concert and the reception can be picked up at the box office on the night of the concert, but tickets must be paid for in advance.
