The Senate on Tuesday gave final approval to S. 115, the same-sex marriage bill, on a voice vote. This followed Monday’s initial approval on a 26-4 roll-call vote.
The measure is now in the House. The House Judiciary Committee began taking testimony Tuesday afternoon, and will continue doing so through the rest of the week. The full House will likely take up the bill next week.
Gov. Douglas remains mum on whether he’ll veto the bill if it reaches his desk.
