Job Opportunity -- Staff Attorney
The ACLU of Vermont is seeking a full-time staff attorney to work in our Montpelier office.
The staff attorney has primary management responsibility for the legal program of the ACLU-VT. This includes managing civil liberties cases from intake through litigation, working with the executive director, legal advisory panel, and volunteer attorneys; and keeping in contact with the legal staff at the national ACLU and other ACLU affiliates. Applicants should have strong legal research and writing skills, ability to interact positively with a wide range of people, and a demonstrated commitment to public interest law and the mission of the ACLU.
