Arlo Guthrie Benefit

No Immunity for Electrocuting the Innocent

In a case that vividly illustrates the ACLU’s objection to the use of stun guns as citizen control devices, a federal court of appeals has ruled that two Florida police officers who shocked a man to death using their Taser devices are not immune from suit for their actions.

ACLU-VT Annual Meeting
